2008 Membership Categories and Rates

Membership Categories

Youth - Ages 6 months to Grade 8
High School - Grades 9 to 12
Young Adult - Ages 18 to 22 years
Adult - Ages 23 to 61 years
Senior Citizen - Anyone 62 years of age or older
Senior Couple - Any two seniors 62 years of age and older residing in the same household
Single Parent Family - One Adult and Child(ren) 22 years and under residing in the same household
Family - Adult Couple and Child(ren) 22 years and under residing in the same household
Corporate - For corporations with a qualifying number of employees

The Valley YMCA offers a variety of full privilege membership categories based on your age and family status and include the use of the entire facility, according to area schedules.

Three Month Membership Rates

You Choose the three months! Joiner's fees are built into the three month rates. Prior to the conclusion of your three month membership, you may extend your membership to a yearly term. The fees paid will be credited towards your annual membership.

Basic Program Membership Rates

A Program Membership is required for participation in all Valley YMCA programs. No joiners fees required. Everyone must be a member to take advantage of our programs and classes.

Monthly Bank Draft - An easy way to pay!

It's easy for you to maintain a continuous Valley YMCA Full Privilege Membership through our Monthly Bank Draft program. Your membership dues are automatically deducted from your checking account each month (1st of 15th or the month depending on your join date) and your membership will remain active until a cancellation is requested. Cancellation requests must be done in writing 30 days prior to the next draft. Members are responsible for drafts not honored by the bank for any reason, plus a $15.00 service fee. Monthly payments will make your membership more convenient and affordable!

Monthly Credit Card Draft (Coming Soon!)

Your membership dues will be automatically deducted from your credit card. If you are interested, please give our Membership/Marketing Director a call.

Annual Memberships

A one-year membership may be purchased by paying the full amount in cash, check, debit or credit card (Master Card, Visa or Discover). Membership dues are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Joiner's Fee

All new Full Privilege Members and 3-month Members pay a joiner's fee. The joiner's fee is used for capital improvements that benefit the members of the Valley YMCA. If the membership remains continuous, no additional fee is required. Joiner's fees will be waived for any active members of another YMCA transferring to the Valley YMCA.

All rates subject to change. Membership dues are automatically withdrawn from your checking account (1st or 15th of the month, depending on your join date). To join, just sign a pre-authorization form, pay the first month, the joiner's fee and provide us with a voided check. This is a continuous payment system. A 30 day written notice must be given to cancel a membership draft. Members are responsible for drafts not honored by the bank for any reason, plus a $15.00 service fee for the returned check charge. (Includes a monthly processing fee.) Additional $7.00 for each child after 2
